Listen: Pop Smoke’s Deluxe Posthumous album includes 15 new songs

Just over two weeks ago, Pop Smoke’s debut album was released. Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon was extremely well received. I mean, it was expected to be well received which highlights the huge amount of pressure on the team behind it. In fact, the only concerning thing about the whole process appeared to be Virgil Abloh’s attempt at the cover art of the album.

Nevertheless, the album showcased Pop Smoke’s huge ability. Pop Smoke was not willing to subject himself to being just a “Drill rapper”. He had branched further afield and that was his aim.

It would have been his 21st birthday today. To mark the occasion, a deluxe version of his album has been released. 15 more songs not only promote the notion that he really was a diverse artist but he was clearly working extremely hard behind the scenes. For a man that had not even been in the limelight for even a year, his catalog was strong.

The 15 new tracks include features from Fivio Foreign, Dafi Woo, Davido, Dread Woo, PnB Rock, Jamie Foxx, Gunna, Young Thug, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Queen Naija, King Combs, Cal Boy and lastly, Burna Boy.
