Following on from his “FTP (Fuck The Police)” track, YG is back with “Swag”.
“FTP” was dropped in response to the death of George Floyd at the end of May. The music video was filmed during protests that occurred, in LA, in response to the brutal death of Mr Floyd at the hands of the Police.
The “Swag” music video includes YG dressed up as Colin Kaepernick, taking the knee. The American Footballer refused to stand during the American national anthem back in 2016, in a response to the embedded racism present in the country. Features from Tyga and Snoop Dogg are also made in the music video.
We just hope the catchy hook does not find itself on TikTok as a cheesy new dance routine. Please.
