Listen: Black Eyed Peas drop their latest Dance and Reggeaton style album ‘The Translation’

Many people may believe that the Black Eyed Peas actually discontinued making music back in the early 2010’s after their successful resurgence.

The group burst onto the scene in the early 2000’s but a reemergence in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s put them back on the map. Will.i.Am pursued more of a solo career in producing, as well as releasing his own content. A path that Fergie followed a few years before.

Nevertheless, you would be excused for not reasliing that hte group actually released an album entitled MASTERS OF THE SUN VOL.1 back in 2018. This release was their first without Fergie’s inclusion though. THis was also their first album since their last release in 2010.

This latest project is more akin to their sound of the late 2000’s and early 2010’s and unfortunately, we will not be receiving any hits such as “Where Is The Love?” or “Shut Up”. The former track making a revival in recent times due message still being relevant today.

Translation holds more of a Dance and Reggeaton track with the first two tracks containing samples from classic Dance tracks. The 12 features also indicate the clear direction that the album is heading. Latin superstars, J.Balvin, Ozuna, Shakira and Nicky Jam being amongst the list of artists that make appearances.
