Latest: Chance the Rapper releases debut album, ‘The Big Day’

It seems strange that a rapper, that has been in the scene for so long has only just released his debut album.

With that being said, Chance’s catalogue of music and projects cannot be underestimated. The rapper has released three mixtapes since his breakthrough in 2011. Over those nine years, he has achieved success and received awards for these projects that many artists would never gain even with a collection of albums.

A winner of a Best Mixtape at BET Hip-Hop Award in 2016 for his Colouring Book mixtape. Furthermore, a winner of three Grammy’s at the 2017 Awards Show. Chance took a Grammy for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for his track “No Problem” featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz and also Best Rap Album for his 2016 mixtape, Colouring Book.

Previously success tells us that this album will stick to the same script sheet. The debut album includes features from John Legend, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj and the throwback, DJ Casper on “Ballin Flossin”.
