New Music: Rick Ross and Drake join forces again for “Gold Roses”

Just shy of exactly 9 years since Rick Ross’s hit “Aston Martin Music” dropped, Rick Ross & Drake may have just cooked up a hit to match it.

Although the pair have collaborated on numerous occasions since the 2010 hit, maybe one does not strike as well as this one. That is no disregard to the other hits as “Stay Schemin'” in 2012 was huge, DJ Khaled’s hits such as “I’m On One”, “Diced Pineapples” or even their most recent collaboration on Drake’s “Money In The Grave”.

It would be easy to mistake this for a Drake song seeing as it takes a good 2 minutes before Ross actually enters the song. Regardless, the song is a classic already. A smooth beat with slick flows from Rick and everything you expect from Drake.

Port of Miami 2 has been announced for an August release and “Gold Roses” looks like it is going to be one of the pre-release singles off the project.
