Latest: 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’ announce ‘Savage Mode 2’

21 Savage and Metro Boomin’ have some serious work in their collaborative catalogue.

The EP, Savage Mode was released just over three years ago to the month. It was so highly acclaimed that it gained a place on Rolling Stone’s Top Rap Albums of the Year.

Since then, Metro Boomin’ and 21 Savage have also worked together on the collaborative album, with Offset, Without Warning, the following year. The album including huge hits “Ghostface Killas” and “Ric Flair Drip”.

Towards the end of last year, Savage dropped his second solo studio album entitled I Am > I Was. The album was a success but in the early months of this year, 21 Savage found himself in a battle with the Government over allegations of his real birthplace. Now all of this has since been resolved, 21 can get back to making music.

During a show in LA recently, 21 Savage brought out Metro Boomin’ to announce that a follow up to this extensive amount of collaborative work is on its way. Savage Mode 2 has no release date yet but it is clear that the pair have been working on it.
