Earlier in June, Ed Sheeran released the track list for his album No.6 Collaborations Project. This is when we understood where he may have got some inspiration for the title from.
Ed Sheeran has never been shy to collaborate with music artists from the vast amount of differing musical genres that are now around. This album sums that up to a T with it boasting some of the biggest collaborations we have seen in the past few years, let alone this year.
The album features Justin Bieber, Khalid, Cardi B, Stormzy, J Hus, Young Thug, 50 Cent and Eminem and that is just naming a few as well. There is plenty more on show.
As expected with such as variety of features, the album provides a variety and mix of beats, genres and melodies that Ed Sheeran does not fail to perform on. From the UK influenced track “Back To London” featuring Stormzy to “Best Part of Me” featuring YEBBA and then back to “Antisocial” featuring Travis Scott.
Ed Sheeran has not made a song for the featured artist to fit in, Ed has made songs that fit the featured artist perfect with beats and melodies that match the featured artists own work and catalog perfectly.
Making the art of making music seem so effortless…
