Release Update: Chris Brown Showcases ‘Indigo’ Album Artwork

Chris Brown has released the artwork for his up and coming new album Indigo on Instagram…

Furthermore, he has also teased fans with a rendition of an Avengers film poster with his own spin, called the “Indigo Season”. The image features Chris at the top of the photo and other artists such as G-Eazy, Drake, Sage Gemini, Lil Jon and Tory Lanez too name a few. Most likely, these are all the artists that will be featuring on the album that is due to release on the of 21st June. Chris Brown did state himself, in his own Instagram post, that this is the expected release date but subject to any delays, it would be released on the 28th June.

Although the official track list has not been released, this picture almost gives a huge indication as to who will be on the album. The biggest speculated feature on the album appears to be happening though. It was rumored that Brown and Drake would have a song together. After they officially squashed their beef last year when Drake bought Brown out on stage in L.A, there has since been a preview of this track circulating on Youtube.

It may be a surprise to some fans that there does not appear to be a Jacquees feature. The pair previewed music back in 2018 on Youtube. It is probably expected that any music between these two will either feature on a Jacquees project or a joint EP/mixtape released in the future. Most likely, similar to the Fan of a Fan joint project that Chris Brown and Tyga released in 2015.

We already know that tracks “Undecided”, “Back To Love” and most recent single “Wobble” will feature. According to rumors, Chris Brown would be releasing the album with a track-list as big as 30 tracks. This would be due to paying homage to his recent birthday. It would not be surprising due to the amount of potential features but there is the question of whether he would release such a big project after his last album Heartbreak on a Full Moon was over 30 tracks. Chris Brown would probably be the only artist that could do so with the R&B singer having stated, in the past, of the vast amount of unreleased music he actually has.

Regardless of how many tracks end up on the project, one thing is for certain, there is most definitely going to be hits on this album. If the album follows in the same vein of the singles that have already been released then we will surely, unsurprisingly, be treated to another gem by Chris Brown.
